Chapter Leadership Opportunities

    Board roles typically require a minimum of five hours per month of time commitment to respond to emails, attend board meetings, and advance chapter initiatives. Committee involvement can be as little as a couple hours a year; every hour helps!

    Current Board Opportunities:

    Three positions remain open on the 2015 slate of Board Members for Southwest Washington SHRM.

    President-Elect - assist the president in overseeing all the activities of the chapter.  In the absence of the president, perform all the presidential responsibilities.

    Annual Event Director - manage the activities of the conference board to provide conference programs for the chapter membership.

    Programs Coordinator for Longview - ensures that program information is published in the Longview area and that facilities are arranged for bi-monthly Southwest Washington SHRM meetings in that city.

    Current Committee Opportunities:

    Membership Committee

    Become an ambassador for SWHRMA, building on your current network to attract and retain new SWHRMA members.

    Communications Committee

    Promote events and chapter activities through member and public communications. Committee involvement can be as little as a couple hours a year; every hour helps!
